Mas hoje vim falar pra vocês da CARTA que devemos fazer para a Host Family....A minha particularmente achei que ficou um pouco grande, mas ficou bem explicadinho e a minha agente gostou bastante !!! Então aí vão algumas dicas meninas...
First of all I would like to introduce myself. My name is Nilceli, but friends and family call me Nil. I am 21 years old, Brazilian and born and raised in a city called São Paulo. The city is the biggest in my country, it´s huge, friendly and has a lot of different places and cultures to visit and discovery. The weather here it’s a little uncertain, in just one day we have all fours seasons, winter, spring, summer and autumn. I live with my mother, who is a retired teacher and my father, who is a administrative assistant. I also have a bird who is called Charlie. My family and I get on very well together, we are really close to each other. At the weekends, we spend a lot of time together and we usually go to parks, museums and to the mall. We always go on vacation together too! And we have so much fun while knowing different places. I can describe myself as an outgoing, serene, active, organized, creative, fun, open-minded, patient and responsible person. Every night I go to the gym and two times per week I do 45min of swimming class. On my free time I also love to read and cook the dishes of Brazil (though also love Italian and Japanese food). I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family, we usually go to the movies, I love movies and I’m a very ecletical about it, we do go to theater, restaurants and to visit each others at weekends too. When I am on my own, I like listening music, jogging and, mostly, go out for a walk. I have a degree in Nursing, and I really love what I do, I always want to help people and take care of them. I have always loved children and my experience with them began when I was 16 years old. I started taking care of my friend’s daughter. I used to tell her histories about everything, sing, do arts and crafts and dance. I have learned a lot with her, with their simplicity, joyful and innocence. When I was in College, I started to work at a camp as a counselor, so we needed to do everything with the kids, help them to tidy up the clothes, play games with them, do outdoors activities, do arts and crafts, help with the breakfast, lunch and dinner and always be there for them when they need and care for their health. I have learned the importance of helping people who really need and loving children as they were mine. Kids were always so kind with me that I feel like I have a lot to give to them. So I learnt and become more mature after working there. I had the best moments in my life with those kids! I will carry them on with me for the rest of my life. I usually look after my friend’s child when she needs. Her name is Gabriela, she is two months old now but I have been babysitting her since she was a newborn. When I babysitting her, I usually feed her, bath/shower, dress them up and put her to sleep and nap.
Thanks for reading my letter with so much affection and attention. I’m looking forward to hearing from you pretty soon.
Your sincerely future Au Pair,
Nilceli S. F. Ferriolli"
